About David Burnett

David Burnett has been photographing for four decades, and continues to produce work for magazines and corporate clients. He is the recipient of the Photographer of the Year award from the Pictures of the Year competition, World Press Photo's "Press Photo of the Year", and the Robert Capa Gold Medal from the Overseas Press Club of America. His current work embraces both new digital technology, and decades old (but only getting better..) large format cameras, happy to use whatever it takes to make a singular, striking image.
